I'm Allen — a photographer based in Edinburgh, specialising in portrait, event, and commercial photography, with a focus on capturing honest moments and creating bold, atmospheric visuals.

My style blends documentary storytelling with a creative, editorial edge. Whether I’m shooting a live event, developing visual content for a local brand, or working one-on-one on a portrait session, I aim to create work that feels real, expressive, and uniquely yours.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me wandering through second-hand record shops or sketching out shoot ideas inspired by music, films, or other photographers. Photography, for me, is a way to merge storytelling with mood — whether it’s for a brand or just a fleeting moment worth holding onto.

As someone with a young family, I understand how important it is to capture and preserve life’s precious moments, and that it is much more than just picking up a camera and pressing the shutter button.
